Chronicle Hackathon is an online hackathon designed to bring together tech enthusiasts from across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region in a competitive yet inclusive environment. Teams will be tasked to creatively design and develop a prototype of their favourite consumer technology. The consumer technology must address itself as a solution for a particular problem or scenario, and can be anything such as a video game, digital assistant, interactive platform, educational application, computational software, and much more.

The Chronicle Hackathon is open to all students enrolled in Universities within the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. Students must be currently enrolled in a University degree or TAFE and will need to provide evidence of enrolment.
Note that you do not need to be physically present in the ANZ region to partake in the Chronicle Hackathon. As long as you are enrolled into a University or TAFE in the ANZ region and can provide evidence of enrolment, you are eligible to compete in the hackathon
Can I work on a project that I have started prior to the Chronicle Hackathon event?
You cannot work on a current project during the Hackathon, instead you will need to develop your own solution and create a prototype of your design within the 48 hour period of the Chronicle Hackathon.
Where do we make project submissions?
Submissions can be made through the Devpost Chronicle page. Further details are provided during the Launch Event of the Chronicle Hackathon, on the 9th of April from 12:00pm AEST.
By what time do we need to submit our designs?
Submissions need to be made before Sunday, 11th of April 12:00pm AEST. These are hard deadlines and we won't be able to accept any submissions after this.
What do we need to submit?
You need to submit a link to the github where all the code resides and a video to pitch your product. For the video, you may submit a link to your Google drive folder or upload it YouTube and share that link
